Policies like this one are also responsible for growing political volatility and the rise of populism in this country. Voters HATE being cheated. They want politicians to demonstrate bravery and stand up to the deep pocketed vested interests who have made us poor and miserable.

Harry Scoffin We hoped that Labour would keep its opposition promises on leasehold reform and BSA reform. Instead, it just seems to me more of the same chummy approach to big businesses running this corrupt system. What a disappointment! Angela Rayner and Keir Starmer - what are you doing?

Good that Kevin Hollinrake MP mentioned this in his question, but Angela Rayner didn't respond and has made no commitments to do anything about the injustice suffered by non-qualifying leaseholders. Will Labour do anything to convince us that they are any better than the last lot?

If a building is in the Developer Contract, you'd think the developer is obliged to pay for a waking watch / alarm if their assessments say interim measures are needed. Nope.
