We've been fortunate to be able to talk about our research at a variety of outreach events recently, including a primary school Careers Fair Carr Manor Community School, and a National Numeracy Day event for 11-13 year olds!

Many thanks to Leeds'Omics for organising the workshop 'Introduction to RNA-Seq Data Analysis' last week. Dr Elton Vasconcelos, Dr Chew Cheng, and Michal Zulcinski were brilliant at explaining bioinformatics concepts in a beginner-friendly way

Our own Morgan Thomas, part of CDT for AI in Medical Diagnosis and Care Leeds, won Best Poster at the Northern Bioinformatic User Group meeting last week, showcasing his fantastic PhD research using machine learning to assess brain tumour purity β so necessary 4 downstream analyses @LIMRleeds @LeedsCancerRes
