Here are some entries so far for the geography competition. We have had a range of entries including 3D models, cakes, minecraft and canvas paintings. We can't wait to see entries when we return from half term.
Year 9 have been making made adverts in geography on how to prepare for natural hazards. They presented these to the class this week. Well done Year 9.
Our year 8 artists have been making fantastic progress with their self-portrait drawings this module! They have been learning about the shapes and proportions of the face by measuring and establishing ratios. We are looking forward to seeing their finalised creations next module!
Our co-curricular programme has been so popular this module. In games and lego club students have been playing Sketchy tales. It is a great game that supports communication and social skills.

Some students were busy during art club, beginning to make poppy wreaths for the upcoming Remembrance Day service. All students will be making a poppy during the course of the week to contribute collectively. A special thank you to our volunteers for getting us started!
