Its been a long journey Twitterati - but now its coming to an end - I joined twitter reluctantly in Oct 2009 and it was so much better then i thought - i loved the tweet up and the community spirit and willingness to help and support each other

Now it is time to leave twitter - me and all at The Link Centre want to express our appreciation for those who have chatted, engaged, supported, Re tweeted, follow fridayed and everything that Twitter has given us

I was surprised to make new friends on twitter, some of whom i have met up with in the real world and some who have remained online but whom i feel great connection and affection for - many of those have now left twitter as i will be now

If you are interested in Counselling, Psychotherapy, personal development, psychology or just connecting with interesting people, I can thoroughly recommend The Link Centre , whether its the in person or online courses

When I first joined Twitter, it was very much about connecting with each other and mutually supporting each other personally and professionally, The Link Centre grew into the very successful, well recognised business partly due to support from Twitter and i am grateful for that

I am hugely proud of what we have achieved at The Link Centre, I am the co founder but am now retired and I am loving watching it going from strength to strength under new ownership

I have 14, 600 followers on here but I know many have left Twitter, I am sad but am also leaving now. Thank you to all those who have connected with me over the last 16 years - its been a journey, mostly surprisingly good

Let's not call for more resilience, diagnoses, drugs, medicalisation & neurofication to address escalating rates of poor mental health, let's call for new social policy to tackle its social determinants & properly fund demedicalised psycho-social support. That's it in a nutshell.
