Professor Lenny Koh of the Management School and Energy Institute has been announced as the Sheffield lead for the new Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing Hub, led by Cardiff University. The Hub is one of the several new manufacturing hubs funded by Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.

The paper has a particular focus on perovskite solar cell (PSC) technology, considering PSC in an integrated power plant. The work finds that rising PSC lifetime reduced the environmental impact and that climate change and ozone depletion in wind and solar cases are lower.
