The short Par4 11th at Leopard Creek is not as innocuous as it may seem. The tricky green has a false front that repels many approaches and subtle slopes to confuse the best putter.

The 7th at Leopard Creek Country Club has been referred to as the shortest Par4 on the European Tour. The expression stems from the fact that this short hole often averages around (.5) over the Par3 for the week of the Alfred Dunhill Championship. Pro Tip: Use Old Ball...

The Par3 12th of Leopard Creek Country Club is the shortest hole on the course. It offers an elevated tee that serves to frame a towering short iron with the world renowned Kruger National Park as a backdrop.

The Par3 5th hole at Leopard Creek requires a crisply struck short/mid-iron to cover the carry onto the elongated green. A miss-hit or pulled tee-ball will likely find a watery grave before being reincarnated for Pro-Shop resale. Long or right is safe; bring your ‘A’ short-game.

The 16th hole at Leopard Creek is the longest Par3 on the course. The hole offers a variety of teeing options with shot distance ranging from about 100m to nearly 200m. The hole strokes as 2 on the Leopard Creek scorecard with a score to Par the exception more than the rule.

The short Par4 6th hole at Leopard Creek is true risk and reward. From the teeing area it looks very open and at about 290m it’s certainly not long, but anything left off the box will see you in tall stuff that no one should enter. A tiered green awaits those who have found it...

The Par4 17th at LC was redesigned in the 2018 revamp. The hole now plays as a slight dog-leg right off the tee with a successful drive leaving a mid-iron for most. The reshaped green has more subtle slopes than its predecessor making it one of the trickier greens on the course.

The Par4 3rd hole of Leopard Creek Country Club has one of the tightest tee-shots on the course. The tree-lined fairway and undulating green are also well-protected by clever bunkering. The hole ranks as one of the more difficult for Members with a net Par score gladly accepted.

The Par4 10th hole opens the back nine at Leopard Creek Country Club with a fairway bending left towards a tiered target. The front half of the green is receptive while a pin cut on the upper level requires a purely struck approach to hold a green that slopes away significantly.

The Par4 9th hole at LCCC was lengthened in the recent revamp. The hole does play significantly downhill towards the Clubhouse and is well-protected by penalty areas and bunkers from tee to green. An accurate drive followed by a well-directed approach is required to stay ‘dry’...
