Paul from Gerard Maguire told me I had to try this Maranges from Casiopée and damn it, he was right. Ok, maybe not the intensity of the top Burgundy villages, but lovely purity, and excellent balance. Also, 2022 is a great vintage for white Burg 🤘

Brought a few bits along to Connemara…. Warm enough to sit out with a jumper on… salmon from Cavistons Food Emp. , oil and wine from the shop (64)…. Bread robbed from Sandy in Forestavenue … heaven
