We had a fruitful meeting with National Forestry Authority-Uganda, highlighting the need for clearer targets, improved communication, stronger law enforcement, community engagement, and strategic partnerships to combat deforestation and forest-related crime.

Today, we had a productive engagement with the IGG 🇺🇬! We explored synergies across our justice, anti-corruption, and environmental crime programmes, aligned with the IGG’s mandate to combat corruption. Grateful to Hon Beti Kamya Turwomwe for the commitment to collaborate.
