Yesterday was one of those sunny Brighton days I've missed a lot over the past few months. Super grateful to live in this beautiful city. Just one more coffee and I'll be ready for the week ahead! ☕️

You're either an ally or you're not, Barclays UK. If trans women can't use your toilets, you might want to think about how genuine your commitment to 'true diversity and inclusion' really is.

Reform couldn't run a bath, let alone a local authority. The way Farage talks about the livelihoods of hard-working council officers is bloody awful behaviour.

I have written to the Equality and Human Rights Commission asking them to withdraw their interim guidance on single-sex spaces ⬇️. It goes beyond the Supreme Court ruling, increases risks of harassment and violence to trans people, and is contradictory & confusing. EHRC please

Dear Reform UK I heard your ridiculous rhetoric over the weekend about people not working from home. Could you explain why you are advertising jobs working from home when saying hard working council staff should have this taken away? A bit hypocritical some would say.

Happy to be one of the "2 million" immigrants who will become eligible for citizenship, but there's no automatic claim. That's bonkers fantasy politics. If 2m decide to apply for citizenship, it'll generate a whopping £5 million in fees that will go straight into govt's coffers.

After nearly 10 years of the same ridiculous language by Farage and the Tories when it comes to Brexit, it all feels a little boring and outdated. We've had zero benefits with Brexit, it's time we realised that and moved on. This deal with the EU is genuine good news.

The EHRC tried to shut down protest. The High Court said no. I wrote about why this ruling matters and what it says about the state of trans rights in the UK. scenemag.co.uk/outside-the-eh…

It's #4thofJuly, and even though I loved volunteering at the Democrats Abroad UK picnic in London, the fact that Trump's big ugly bill was passed by the House makes the day a lot less cheerful. Millions of Americans will lose their healthcare and food support. Absolutely shameful.

Huge surprise. Not. This could split the Green vote and even the Reform vote if they're populist enough. We shall wait and see.
