First instruments have arrived 3 months before me! Thanks to TA Instruments for the fast delivery of my Rheometer and DMA. Also, thank you Utah Chemistry (Jim Muller) for carefully moving them to my lab. More deliveries to come!

Check out our new comprehensive study of a gaseous signaling molecule releasing mechanophore using the diradical-elimination cascade strategy. This is a highly collaborative work of The Moore Group with Craig Group and the Kulik Group under MONET-CCI pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

Excellent work led by Lucca Trachsel showcasing the broad utility of novel vinyl monomers bearing pendent triketones - amines (of many flavors) dont stand a chance when these are around. Thankful to be a part of this! Brent Sumerlin Debabrata Konar J. Am. Chem. Soc. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

Super stoked to have been a small part of this super cool paper on FP patterning just published in nature. Huge congrats to the team and especially Justine for exceptional work! Jeffrey S. It was our pleasure (Swanson Group) to highlight the latest on lasso peptide folding and substrate–cyclase tolerance from the Shukla, Burk, and Mitchell teams at Chemistry at Illinois ChBE Illinois lassogen: nature.com/articles/s4158…

Crispy new paper out now in Chemical Science! Cabell Eades and pals used aqueous PISA as a tool to avoid high viscosities typically obtained during UHMW polymer synthesis! Also got some massive polymer microparticles in the process. Brent Sumerlin tinyurl.com/SaltyPISA
