Today is National Biscuit Day, so we’re highlighting Lewisham’s bygone biscuit institution Chiltonian Ltd. Chiltonian's first baking plant was erected next to Hither Green Station in 1911. When the business expanded in 1933, it moved to Manor Lane, where it operated until 1980.
