This week, The LIGHT Consortium is having an #EIDM Training of Trainers workshop in Machakos County, Kenya this week (2-6 October) to enhance capacity of mid-level policymakers in accessing, appraising, synthesizing and applying research #evidence.
.The LIGHT Consortium held a media science café in collaboration with MESHA Science in Kenya & JournAIDS Malawi in Malawi. The meeting’s aim was to create awareness within the science journalism communities on gender disparity of TB & gender-responsive approaches to end the disease.
The 2023 Paris World Conference on Lung Health focuses on Transforming Evidence into Practice is underway. Our The LIGHT Consortium project is sharing evidence to improve detection & treatment of men, who account for 60% of TB infections but are largely undiagnosed and untreated

.The LIGHT Consortium partners in Kenya, AFIDEP & @ReSoK, in collaboration with @NTLD-P held a sensitisation breakfast meeting with selected County Health Management Team (CHMT), & sub-County Health Management Teams (SCHMT) of Nairobi County to discuss a participatory qualitative study.
