Last week we attended Breaking Convention, Europe’s largest conference on psychedelic consciousness. We attended as part of our ongoing interest in the use of psychedelic-assisted therapy to treat severe PTSD in activists and victims of violence and oppression in the MENA region.

Executive director Ahmed قَطَنَّش presented on behalf of Dr Leyla Sirad Hussein Gikandi OBE, introducing Shefa—our trauma-informed healing programme for MENA communities and activists. Shefa prioritizes mental health, trust, and collective coordination in the aftermath of repression and war.


Last week, we partnered with @awra_org and Belt of Somali Women for a powerful webinar centering Somali voices in the fight to end FGM. From survivor-led strategies to grassroots action, the conversation reminded us that cross-border solidarity is not just possible,it’s necessary.
