Before half term, pupils travelled to Norwich to take part in the Senior Youth Speaks Competition. Our team - Somi M, Jonathan S, and Tife Y - delivered a polished and thought-provoking speech on ‘TH would be prepared to break the law’. Special thanks to Ana B for her support.

Pupils recently attended inspiring seminars and lectures at the University of Cambridge. Lower sixth physicists learned about cutting-edge climate repair techniques, while physicists and astronomers enjoyed a fascinating talk on the real-world applications of mathematics.

Pupils from across the school have been creating artwork to be sold in the ‘Secret Postcard Exhibition’ run by Rowan. We have been supporting the charity for a number of years through pupil volunteering, so it is great to be able to offer further support in this way.

Yesterday lunchtime a semi final of this year's House Debating Competition was held in Great Hall between Bisseker and Fen. The motion was ‘THBT stairs are better than lifts’ with some strong arguments from both sides. Congratulations to Bisseker who won for the Proposition.

On Thursday evening, Great Hall was transformed into Cambridge's premier rock venue. Bands composed of pupils and staff delivered performances of timeless classics such as ‘Mustang Sally’, ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’, and ‘Yellow’. Thanks go to Mr Howe for putting this together.
