Welcome to our new addition to our arsenal. Our Deep Trekker Inc pivot ROV. Expanding our underwater search and rescue capabilities, a first in the UK FRS. Incorporating sonar and high res camera, fitted with grabber for retrieval purposes.

Really useful training day using Capernwray Diving today for LFRS Drone team training. We've been getting to grips with our brand new Deep Trekker Inc underwater rescue capable ROV. To demonstrate our thermal camera capabilities, tonight during a training flight, a small heat source was located in a field. Nothing visible on the high def camera, but once zoomed in, all was revealed. #drones #wildlife

Tonight we have been assisting at a large fire in Blackburn. Six fire appliances and two aerial ladder platforms attended. The drone was used for situational awareness and potential fire spread. #Blackburn

👉 Our search for Brian Blakeman is continuing today (Saturday, December 9). Brian, 77, has been missing from Skelmersdale since Tuesday (December 5) and we remain extremely concerned for his welfare.

A busy weekend for us. We spent most of it at a large fire in Blackburn. Initially to provide situational awareness, then back several times to monitor hot spots and flare ups. #DronesForGood

Our Drone was busy last night, assisting at a large industrial fire in Blackburn. You can see the information available to the incident commander in this image taken by Tom Powell, when the drone livestreams to our new command unit.

We have been assisting with temperature checks at an ongoing incident at Blackpool for the last few days. This image taken today shows the sheer size of the incident.

Assisted at a fire at a school in Hurst Green this morning. The fire affected one classroom, due to the quick response and actions from crews the majority of the school was left unaffected. #DronesForGood Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service
