The Life in Kyrgyzstan Conference 2024 is in full swing in Bishkek today and will continue tomorrow. Economic development, climate change, demographic trends, and many other topics are under lively discussions.

Climate change is the dominating topic at the LiK conference 2024. In the session on Day 2, we are learning that glaciers along the riverways in Kyrgyzstan have declined by 16% in the last 70 years. By 2060 they could decline by further 22% by various estimates.
