Our work demonstrates strategies to design COF GDLs which can inhibit solvent intrusion via size selectivity by tailoring the pore size of COFs, and decelerate moisture permeation by modifying the COF channels with superhydrophobic functionalities.(2/4)

The ability to facilitate gas diffusion and sieve moisture enables multi-atmosphere Li-air batteries with great kinetics and stability. The battery can stably cycle under extremely harsh conditions under looping of humid air (~60% to 95% RH) and even CO2.(3/4)

Moreover, our COF GDL can be synthesized using the ultrafast scalable method we reported earlier, clearing the path for large-scale production and pouch cell assembly. (4/4)

Nearly 9 years ago, I began my COF research with Prof. Kian Ping Loh at NUS, inspired Prof. Omar Yaghi, who created a giant cake of Reticular Chemistry for the community. Today, Prof. Yaghi treated me a real cake! Special thanks to Prof. Hexiang Deng for capturing this moment.
