Lia’s paper on Zn-FLP catalysed C-H borylation now out in ACS Catal. Great collaboration with Matthew Grundy and @InglesonMike – see pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Lia giving her talk on modelling amineborane dehydropolymerisation at #Dalton2023 in collaboration with Andrew Weller. Thanks to all involved in running this excellent meeting - great to be back together Warwick Conferences Warwick Chemistry RSC Inorganic Reaction Mechanisms Group

@MacgregorHWU team at #Dalton2023 suitably refreshed after the conference dinner: Lia Sotorrios, PhD, Ambre and Paddy along with ex-Macgrellerite Bengt Tegner , plus some other bloke

. @MacgregorHWU at the Scottish Computational Chemistry Symposium 2023: Arif handles the fire alarm (and a threatening coffee cup) with aplomb;Lia takes a poster prizes with Laia VilĂ -Nadal (Dr Nadal) doing the honours. Many thanks to Hans Senn and University of Glasgow Chemistry for organising.

It’s been great having ICS-sponsored summer student Rebecca Cameron with @MacgregorHWU over the last couple of months - fantastic work - seen here along with her supervisor Lia Sotorrios, PhD and the rest of the crew, all contemplating dessert...

This week we bid farewell to our amazing postdoc Dr Vera Demertzidou (Vera Demertz). Vera is a remarkable chemist who joined us from the group of Alex Zografos and will soon start her second postdoc with Doron Pappo. Good luck Vera, everyone Chemistry Edinburgh willl miss you!

Our collaborative study with @MacgregorHWU of a Cu-catalysed iododeboronation mechanism is now online ACS Catalysis. Congratulations to Matt and Ambre! St Andrews School of Chemistry @EPSRCboron Watson Group pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

We bid a fond farewell to head post-doc Lia Sotorrios, PhD after three great years @MacgregorHWU. Good luck with your new position in Manchester with Andrew Leach Research Group as part of @EPSRCboron. Lia seen here subjected to the now-traditional Jimmy-Hat - see you soon!

The Neidig lab will soon be advertising a 3 year PDRA position on iron-catalysed C-H activation chemistry with a focus on mechanistic studies and catalyst development Oxford Chemistry. Informal inquiries are welcome.
