Some places are always going to feel special, and this is one. Really lovely to be back at Uppingham today adjudicating the recital prize. The singing/playing was superb: congratulations to all finalists on their polish, commitment & hard work. Music dept seems in fine fettle!

Busy and enjoyable few days back as a guest Chetham's School of Music, running sessions on making connections between languages, and on the meeting point of language and music - that intersection that creates the magic in vocal music ⭐️

Three lovely autumnal days in Sheffield with the fab Music in the Round, playing six schools’ concerts with Ensemble 360, presented by the amazing Lucy Drever. Every show had hundreds of KS1 children singing their hearts out, buoyed up by the music, captivated by it. 🥰
