Girls 3rd Region BB— DC’s Regional Tournament drought is OVER as they defeat the defending regional champs 75-60 in the first round of the 9th District Tournament!

DCHS punches their ticket to 3rd Region Tournament and our Ken-Tron Manufacturing Player of the Game is Lily Hoagland as she leads way with 20 points n showed unbelievable toughness playing thru injury in 2nd Half.

Lily Hoagland led DC with 20 points, Kennedy Lane had 18, Zoey Beehn had 13, Briley Henry scored 11. DC made 73% FGs unofficially in 2nd H, had a lot of runouts for baskets. DCHS Lady Panther Basketball

Girls 3rd Region Championship— Daviess Co has won 11 of its last 13 games with the only 2 losses coming to O’Cath. Their margin of victory? 18ppg. This was the SCM preseason #1 & at the right time, they’re playing worthy of that ranking! DC WBB has completely flipped. LEGIT!

5.26.2023 Natalie Payne was announced as the HC & on that day, Daviess County Woman’s basketball was flipped on its head. Less than 2 years later the program has won its first Regional Title in School history. Today is EXACTLY what the administration hoped for! STORYBOOK!
