Recent allegations of sexual harassment and worse against Armin Falk & Philip Dybvig are super troubling, not least because the economics profession & academia more broadly have demonstrated *zero* ability to hold people accountable for such behavior.

The current allegations of sexual harassment in Behavioral Econ are very painful to hear 😞. These are not isolated cases. So much entitlement to behave in this way without facing any consequences. So frustrating! Being held accountable is a must if we want to see a change.

It is shocking and disheartening to hear the allegations of misconduct by leaders in our field. We need to do much better to create a safe and inclusive environment. On the other hand, it is inspiring to see people speaking up and the outpour of support. It is a step forward.

There is a ton of stuff happening behind the scenes right now - I'm so grateful to everyone involved! Ladies in econ, we have momentum. If you have info, please share it. I have a list of journalists who'd love to hear from you. Email/DM me for their contact info.

There are allegations of sexual harassment in an institution and this is their official statement. This is fundamentally wrong in so many ways! It sounds as "Don’t you even dare to speak up about sexual harassment" #metoo

The last two days, we hosted an interdisciplinary workshop on gender at NYUAD, bringing together insights from Economics and Psychology. What an incredible experience to learn from scholars across both fields! It brought back some hope given the current political landscape 🫶🏾
