I spy... brand new #LPD recruits in the building for orientation! 🔍🚔🚨👮 Our Fall 2025 class stopped by HQ this week ahead of their training which begins on July 17. They met with academy personnel, got fitted for uniforms, took employee headshots and filled out paperwork.

LPD was excited to be at the grand opening for the Mahoney Inclusive Playground today! Our officers handed out stickers at the ribbon cutting. We can't wait to see kids from across Lincoln come out here to play!

In 2019, #LPD's Becky Keller cared for a baby during a tragic overdose while retrieving hotel surveillance video. In June, she reunited with that infant, now a bright & talkative 6-year-old, surprising her with a LEGO police figure. Moments like these stay with us forever.
