We visited Grimsthorpe Park yesterday with the Lincolnshire Naturalists' Union, where the calcareous grasslands were dotted with wildflowers. 1. Mouse-ear hawkweed 2. Common mouse-ear 3. Salad burnet 4. Common rock rose A wonderful location in great and knowledgeable company.

Visited #chambersfarmwoods today between 10am and 11am and delighted to see more than 100 Marsh Fritillary butterflies, little else, 1 Lattice heath, 1 Peacock, 1 O tip, 1L white. BC Lincolnshire Butterfly Conservation 🦋 Lincs Wildlife Trust Meadow In My Garden 🍃💚🍃 Team4Nature @ukbutterflies

Discovered a wonderful #Lincolnshire road verge just off the A1 today - a vibrant mix of tall herbs, with Spiny Restharrow, Pepper-saxifrage and Stinking Chamomile (though I think it smells quite nice) in the short sward near the road. wildflowerhour BSBI: Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland
