Felt like a good night for some Chicago Golf Club shots. Then again, is there ever a bad night for Chicago Golf Club shots?

I happen to think Royal Dornoch is one of the finest dozen or so courses in the world. I love everything about it. In fact, if you told me that you thought it was the greatest course on the planet, I wouldn’t fight you too hard on it.

If you told me I could play a course every day for the rest of my life, but I could play only that one course, I’d have a list of maybe 7 courses that merit consideration. There just aren’t that many courses that would never get boring. North Berwick would be on that list.

A wild and wonderful day at the Charleston Muni. Saw a fox. Saw a four car pileup next to 18. Caught the edge of a thunderstorm. I just adore this place. Every city should have a great municipal golf course like this. LONG LIVE THE MUNI.
