This movie is great—not just for a Canadian film. Matt Johson has been added to the shortlist of solid directors from Canada. It has a tight script, good use of 'set-up and payoff', developed characters, and tight dialogue. It's funny, dramatic, and thought-provoking. 8/10

I love this film. However, everything that happens after Cooper falls into the black hole is retarded. We need more planet-hopping films that respect physics and (somewhat) orbital mechanics.

Rarely, if ever, have I seen a concept so thoroughly and artistically explored. Ridiculous attention to detail, meticulously crafted, with a style and atmosphere that seems other-worldly. This transcends expectations. 10/10 - Masterpiece

Dinsey needs to take notes. Chicken Run 2 was hot garbage. This, however, is an instant classic. Satirical, slapstick, clever puns, gorgeous claymation - Aardman has done it again.

A modern single-player RPG with [checks notes] good writing?! I'm about halfway through the story, but I'm pleased to say this Czech publisher is killing it! This has stronger character writing than some novels and emotional beats like good films.

This film was so abysmal that it ruined my night. Zach Dean writes like a 14-year-old girl. The technical flaws, fan-fic writing, and suicidal pacing make this the worst film I've seen this year. These actors need new agents. 4/10 - Best Avoided.

I finally got around to watching this, and you guys weren't lying—the writing in this is head-and-shoulders above the MCU and DC. Characters feel real, the plot makes sense (while being engaging), and it tackles complex themes while subverting tropes of the genre. 8/10
