One year ago. I started drafting early thoughts on #researchculture on a very bumpy Eurostar back from Amsterdam. Since then, it’s grown to an (not quite finished) exciting 20 page proposal for a transformative international collaboration.

One year today since my last day in the office. One year of working at the kitchen table, 6 months of that alongside the kids. So many things I miss, particularly cycling to meetings, and the chat before and after.

Ever since The Royal Society’s Changing Expectations, I’ve been itching to do something big in #researchculture, and tomorrow I get my chance to pitch our plan to the big wigs at Research England. Dr Sara Shinton is along for the ride - wish us luck!

Definitely a time for optimism in #researchculture, and really chuffed our work Cambridge University gets a mention alongside all the other awesome projects that are really driving change and which I have huge respect for. Thanks @FrancesDowney!
