Of course, within that, more low-income people will live in LTNs than on 'main' rds. It tells us nothing about the state of main roads.

LTNs reduce traffic flow through the LTN and add it as congestion to the boundary roads. That in turn increases idling, stop/start travel, break dust particulates, fuel burn = emissions & pollution = poorer air quality.

Whatever you do, don't say you're building on parks, or even that you're considering building on parks! Talk about greenbelts, open spaces, even car parks but don't under any circumstance say: "yes, we're looking to build on parks because kids can now play in LTN streets". 🤭
