The Port of Little Rock has over 20 miles of railroad track, with an estimated value of $30 million. Staff uses this track to serve our customers. Port staff contracted with Railpod to use advanced technology to inspect our infrastructure.

Governor Asa Hutchinson has declared the week of May 4-9 as Economic Development Week in Arkansas. The Port of Little Rock plays a huge role in Central Arkansas’s economy.

The Little Rock Port Authority Board of Directors are constantly looking for ways to grow our economy and attract industry to Little Rock.

The Port of Little Rock strives to be the best Inland Port in America with a focus on growing jobs for the community.

Here is an early photo of the Port of Little Rock, looking west from the Arkansas River; the Port has grown exponentially and we plan to continue our commitment to growing jobs.

One year ago the Arkansas River was experiencing record floods & the Port of Little Rock team was working diligently to protect our facilities and our customers.  The Port survived the flood and continues to provide viable logistics options to industries from around the region.

Ground work is finished on the new and improved transit stop at Fourche Dam Pike and Lindsey Road - shelter and bike storage racks are coming soon.
