Great news about the favourable decision by Liverpool John Moores University's Research Ethics Committee to study the social value of LivCathMusicSchool's Schools Singing Programme, involving 1000 children from 15 primary schools across Liverpool about their choral experiences. 💪

Choral worship Liverpool Cathedral for the 99th Anniversary of the Consecration is at 10.30am when the choristers and adults’ voices will sing Festival Eucharist, and the choristers will perform the usual consecration ceremonies, with music by Widor, Bruckner and Wood.

On 1st & 2nd September, we’re holding a 24-hour Musicathon Liverpool Cathedral to raise money for the Cathedral Choir Tour Fund. The event will be livestreamed & feature choristers, staff & other colleagues each giving performances from 6pm on 1st September until 6pm on 2nd September.

Last night we entertained over 500 people Liverpool Cathedral at our first full ‘All Ages Sing’ Christmas Concert involving all our current choral ensembles, including our two new Junior Choirs based in Knowsley and Sefton.
