In 30 years of attending the @BBCProms regularly, tonight’s by The Hallé orchestra & choirs was a strong contender for the best I’ve ever been to … brilliant #Mahler5 but the new James MacMillan Timotheus Bacchus & Cecilia was the highlight … a masterpiece brilliantly performed..
