#cinemaSaturday Aberdeen's Capitol Cinema (arch AGR Mackenzie and C George) was built in 1933 & last showed a film in 1995. Thru' most of its life it was also a theatre; c 2000 became a nightclub & in past decade the auditorium was removed to make way for a 10 storey office block

#ceilingsonSunday St Machar's Cathedral Aberdeen. This flat timber ceiling decorated with 48 heraldic sheilds (representing all the powerful & important European figures of the day) was put up in 1520 & is considered to the earliest flat ceiling in a public building in Britain

#stainedglassSunday - as seen in St Machar's Cathedral Aberdeen. I noted it as being labelled by Daniel Cottier (Glasgow born & widely influential inc working with LC Tiffany) but can find no attribution - anyone got any knowledge of this unusual window?
