Wewant to wish Charlie in Year 8 the absolute best of luck as he takes part in the TCS Mini London Marathon tomorrow! Charlie is one of only six young people in his age category taking part on behalf of Dorset! Good luck Charlie!

Charlie in Year 8 completed the TCS Mini London Marathon on Saturday, starting at 8.54am at Horse Guards Parade, running the 2.6km, past Buckingham Palace and finishing on the Mall. Congratulations Charlie! We are so so proud. #ambitioncouragerespect #proudschool

Last weekend, Maddie in Year 7 took part in the National Schools Snowsports Association Championships, where she placed 8th in the U12 category, representing Lockyer's! Congratulations Maddie, what an epic achievement!

During the Easter Holidays, Mollie in Year 6 and Eloise in Year 7, as part of Mainstage Performing Arts, performed at Disneyland Paris! They performed three routines onstage and they led the famous Main Street Parade in front of 40,000 people! Well done girls and all of the team!

Yesterday, our KS2 cricket team played their first match, against West Moors Middle School, and their performance was fantastic. It was a really close game, with West Moors just edging the win, 241–227. Well done cricketers! We are incredibly proud of you!🏏 #teamlockyers

The Art Department are looking for old teddy bears, rag dolls and/or any unwanted toys made from fabric including fake fur. These toys do not need to be in a good condition. They will be used for Year 8 Art Activities. They will be needed in school by Wednesday 4th June.

Today our Year 7's have had a very informative visit from Nationwide UK. They learnt about borrowing and savings, in particular taxes and national insurance and what this means from an earnings perspective in the future.
