We strongly support the UK’s decision to impose cyber sanctions on Russian GRU units behind attacks on the UK, Ukraine & the EU. We stand with Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office against state-backed malicious cyber operations and commend this decisive action.

Russian spies are trying to destabilise Europe, undermine Ukraine’s sovereignty and threaten the safety of British citizens. Today we are exposing this activity and sanctioning those responsible. Protecting the UK from harm is fundamental to this government’s Plan for Change.
