Poppy Appeal The Poppy Appeal group are looking for volunteers to help in preparing the poppy boxes, then to deliver to, and when Remembrance over to collect from, business premises in Longridge and outlying areas.

Further involvement would include helping on a rota selling poppies to the public at a supermarket on dayand at a time that suits the volunteer,over the two weekends before Remembrance Day. For further information please contact Bill Houghton 784454

Longridge Memory Walk 2019 - this Saturday (28th September 2019) The Mayor, Cllr Steve Ashcroft and Chair of Longridge Dementia Friendly Community, Pam Roberts will officially start the walk. It's not too late to join in - you can just turn up on the day.
