Today we celebrate Emergency Services Day - 9 Sept We thank the nearly 2 million people, including 250,000 first responders who work and volunteering across our emergency services. Today is our opportunity to show our support for our selfless NHS and emergency services heroes.

It was a great pleasure to visit the Edinburgh Linus Group this week. Linus make between 500 & 700 quilts a year which are given to the children's hospital, Barnardo's, Harmeny School, Riding for the Disabled & the palliative care group at the children's hospital. Fantastic work!
