Lords Economic Affairs Committee The Lords Communications and Digital Committee found that a growing proportion of society will have limited engagement with professionally produced news and the gap is widening. It called on the government to support local media, champion responsible AI and address the influence of big tech in news. ⬇️

Members of the Youth Parliament (MYP’s) who are UK Youth Parliament members of the Youth Select Committee are giving evidence today to the House of Lords Lords Communications and Digital Committee as part of their Lordships Inquiry into Media Literacy. Fantastic to have young people’s views heard.


As part of its ongoing inquiry into media literacy, the Lords Communications and Digital Committee met with members of the UK Youth Parliament's Youth Select Committee to better understand young people’s views on the topic.
