Today I officially completed a postgraduate qualification AND became fully vaccinated. We can be much more resilient and bounce back better if we manage our stress levels more carefully BEFORE our pressure gauge is tested at full capacity (like when we experience a fire or flood).

It’s not all doom and gloom though. We learn as we go and some people even grow from their experience. The term Post Traumatic Growth isn’t talked about widely enough.

Eden Park dairy farmers, Duncan and Nathan Smith were at the RRT Farmers Community Connect event in Rochester before Christmas to collect hay after 80% of the farm went under water. Nathan spoke to the National Centre for Farmer Health about the impact on their farm business.
