I named my inner critic Anna Wintour. Their resemblance is uncanny. Naming her has created some separation, and gives me a little more power to decide - do I really want her in charge?

Humans love hierarchies, but when will we learn they are to our detriment? Climbing a hierarchy will never make you truly happy.

Wanting to do something and not doing it is torment. Starting is liberation, even if it's baby steps. Note to self: start sooner, you don't need everything to be perfect.

If you have a biz idea but someone else is already doing it, does it matter? No! There’s a reason we have huge companies like Expedia, Travelocity, Priceline, Kayak etc. with similar functions. Why should your industry be any different? There’s room for you. Go get em.

When society collapses, I really hope we can still have dentists. Tooth pain is the worst and dentists are magicians. I have an idea, in the new society we create, everyone gets to see a dentist when they need to!

People think schools educate children. But schools also: -rank us -make us conform -enforce social norms -shape gender identity Make sure you understand the system you are getting your kids into.

Being motivated by obsession fuels creativity, being motivated by obligation kills it. Give me an obssession over an obligation any day.

Banning social media for young people is mad. Books were invented - they were going to ruin young people's minds. TV was invented - it was going to wreck young people's imagination. Phones - will be a disaster for young people. Seeign a pattern? Technology is not evil.
