Proud to announce Margaret Hodge as our new Anti-Corruption Champion. We are stepping up efforts across government and with law enforcement agencies like the National Crime Agency (NCA) to clamp down on corruption at home and overseas.

When we pledged to smash the gangs in July, we meant it. This is a good step towards keeping our country and our boarders safe. We will continue to work with our international partners to tackle crime around the world.

I’ve locked up criminals before - I dedicated five years of my life to law enforcement. As Prime Minister, I’m clearing up the mess the Tories made and securing our borders to keep our country safe.

Our goal is clear and the target is set. This Government will tackle problems head on and bring the dream of home ownership to life.

In opposition we said that we would make defence housing a priority. Now four months into office we are announcing that we will bring privatised military homes back into public ownership realising huge savings to taxpayers and the long needed opportunity to improve quality.

I'm delighted to see Labour commit today to a £1 billion boost for homelessness services. North East Derbyshire will receive £320,646 in grant funding aimed at preventing and eliminating homelessness in our communities.

This is fantastic investment into a sector that really needs it. Ashgate Hospice in North East Derbyshire will benefit hugely from this funding and investment.

I have heard from many residents throughout the last six months that SEND education is failing many children across Derbyshire. Will continue to work with the Labour Government to provide the change these children desperately need.

Pleased to be part of this group. ME is a debilitating illness that has been ignored for too long and I hope we can start to turn the corner in how it's diagnosed & treated.

The PM is right, we must stop the anthem of decline and build an NHS fit for the future. Cutting the waiting lists left by the previous Conservative Government is a great start.
