Miss Haskett-Smith had the pleasure of visiting Kidgate Academy where she spent the morning delivering a creative writing workshop to year 6 students. They immersed themselves in crafting imaginative fantasy quest stories and even created their own labels for the magic potion

We are thrilled to announce that our Y7 students will all be gifted with a copy of ‘I am Wolf’ by Alastair Chisholm in September. Students will read the book in their form groups and then, in June, Alastair himself will be visiting. Here’s a message from the author himself…

Yesterday, top 50 Epraise students in Y8 went on their rewards trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park 🦁. Students got to see everything from Polar Bears, Capybaras and Wart Hogs. They even got to experience “Pangea” to discover information on when Dinosaurs roamed Earth. A great day was had by all!

On Friday 4th July, our Year 10s visited Franklin Sixth Form College College for a taste of Further Education. They went on a thorough tour of the campus and had information sessions in every department.

Y10 had a fantastic opportunity to cook with some succulent king size prawns that were kindly donated to us from Nordic, Seafood. This allowed students to learn to cooking with crustaceans & use their pasta making skills to make tomato tagliatelle & garlic prawn dish fish.heroes
