It is deeply concerning that a year since Vera Baird DBE KC resigned as Victims' Commissioner for England & Wales the Government have yet to appoint her replacement. It was a pleasure to meet with @VictimsComms, Baroness Newlove yesterday. Along with Why me?, we discussed our concerns with the Victims and Prisoner Bill. We appreciate Baroness Newlove's support for restorative justice #RJweek #RJC23 .

Our team are heading off to London today for the final meeting of the Restorative Justice APPG. It’s a time to reflect on the group's work over the last year and discuss how we can continue to support the group in the future.

It's not every day that you get invited to Cambridge University, let alone the opportunity to spend it with so many inspirational people within the field of Restorative Practice. I'm still percolating this morning. Peace, systems, institutionalisation. We power on together!
