On Saturday, I was thrilled to announce $700,000 in state funding for facility improvements at Lower Gwynedd Twp. Little League’s Ingersoll Park! ☀️⚾️🧢 The grant will support the construction of ADA accessible family restrooms, a new concession stand, and press box.

Penllyn Pike is expected to be closed through the evening. We will provide updates as they become available. The closure is due to a gas leak. Crews are on-site working to get the road reopened.

Please be advised that Penllyn Pike was reopened around 4am this morning. The roadway had been closed in both directions through the night due to a gas leak. This situation is resolved, and the road is now open to motorist.

Please be advised that overnight paving is scheduled at the Spring House Intersection on Mon., June 17th beginning 7pm and continuing to 5am on Tues., June 18th. Normal work operations will continue at the intersection on these days from 9am-3pm.

Please avoid the intersection of Bethlehem Pk, Sumneytown Pk & Norristown Rd in Spring House. Traffic signal lines were severed during curb excavation. The signal is in a flash red mode.  We are working to fix the situation as soon as possible.

Update: The traffic signal is up and running at the Spring House Intersection. Armour will return on site tomorrow to replace the temp signal with permanent which will result in a short outage with flaggers.

Night work is scheduled this week at the Spring House Intersection on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (7/17-7/19) from 7pm to 5am. Crews will be completing roadway milling, paving, and temporary line striping. Regular work will resume during the daytime work hours of 9am-3pm.
