This spoke to my soul. How can women create joy for their children, for the world, if they are never given time to rest? They are the glue that holds so many together and thus they become reduced to that only in this scenario. Their body and essence of self dies.

First day back to real life and one parenting fire (which included a not serious doctor's visit) already put out. 3rd cup of coffee and I haven't yet opened my email. Let's hope those vacation vibes sail me through for this Monday morn..

"How do I accept the fact that my children will never sit in my lap and beg for me to read Dr. Seuss to them again? How do I accept the fact that during those years I was so distracted and tired and anxious that I didnโ€™t properly enjoy it? How do we accept the passing of time?"
