Dr. Jean Koff, MD, Oncologist, on our Nature Materials work: “From a clinician’s standpoint, this work is very exciting…it exemplifies how findings from large genomic datasets may be translated into development of therapeutic strategies in #lymphoma.” ➡️ research.gatech.edu/groundbreaking…

Making history! Coulter BME | Emory & Georgia Tech ranks #⃣1⃣ in nation among graduate biomedical engineering programs in the nation! First time ever in program history. U.S. News & World Report Georgia Tech College of Engineering Go Jackets! 🐝🐝🐝 Read more: bit.ly/3VduwaT

Exciting times! Highly motivated trainees are pushing new research boundaries in lab! U.S. National Science Foundation GRFP lucy britto ツ & NIBIB Immunoengineering T32 trainee Deepali Balasubramani are developing innovative #imaging approaches to study #immune regulations in B cell #lymphomas! Stay tuned!!

Building upon our last year's Nature Materials publication on Lymphoma organoids, we're close to finishing an exciting work led by lucy britto ツ on how T cells rewire certain histones in B-cell lymphomas to interfere with new therapies! We hope to publicly share our findings soon!

Grateful to #immunotherapy experts Luca Gattinoni & Dragana Slavkovic-Lukic for their visionary views on our Nature Nanotechnology work! Read "News & Views" on how our nanowire breakthrough can finally unleash the potential of naive T cell-based immunotherapies! 1/2 nature.com/articles/s4156…

Spotlight on Project ENGAGES! ⭐️ 2023 scholar Phunterion Phillips of D.M. Therrell High School and his mentor, IBB grad student Lucy Britto, were recently published in Advanced Healthcare Materials! Article here: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10… Project ENGAGES

We had the gr8 pleasure of hosting & mentoring Georgia Tech Project ENGAGES student, Phunterion, for 1 yr. His dedication & lucy britto ツ’s mentoring passion led to a publication w/ Phunterion! Proud to support ENGAGES, which partners w/ minority-serving high schools in #Atlanta.

Thank you National Cancer Institute, @NCIPhySci, and #PSON for your support! Proud of this work,an outcome of the rigor & relentless curiosity of a 2nd year PhD student, lucy britto ツ! Excitingly, Lucy will be giving a talk on this work @ 2024 NCI Junior Investigator (JI) Meeting NIH (Aug 22-23)!!

Had the honor of presenting at the NCI Junior Investigators Meeting! A big thank you to National Cancer Institute for the opportunity to share my research. Excited about the future of cancer research and the innovations on the horizon. #NCI #CancerResearch #JuniorInvestigators

"Human Immune Organoids & Organs-on-Chip" - Excited to share our new work Nature Materials!
