Mixed season, but so many positives with the introduction of new players into the 1st XI! We also made history, having 2 women play in one of our matches!! Loads to build on for 2025, plus we get to go to Wellington Cricket Club and have a south Shropshire derby with Bridgnorth CC

Big day at the club! Today marks the last ever ShropshireCCLeague game that Roger will umpire!! A true legend of the Club!! His only request, was that we have a traditional Cricket tea!!! So Pontesbury CC are the lucky recipients!! Thanks so much Roger for all your hard work!

Sadly both the 2nds and 3rds we're on the losing side this week. However, the cricket was never the main focus of the day!! We will miss him dearly as our umpire, however we won't miss his "that's a wide ball" call!! Club and ShropshireCCLeague, Cricket Shropshire legend!!

>>WEEK ONE RESULTS<< The first round of league games saw us take 2/3 wins for our senior teams. Some great performances and learning opportunities made it a successful Saturday for the club. It was wonderful to see so many at The Burway!
