As a teacher, I had the occasional bad day. They happen to us all (anyone who says otherwise is lying). What I found though, is that when I was honest with my students, it humanized me, to which they could relate. Their compassion & understanding also helped lift me up.

Such a great time had by all! We can't wait for the upcoming school year to begin!

We had our first "Staff Walkabouts" after school today. Staff walk with a colleague, debrief about their week and get to know each other better. This is a powerful five minutes. Staff will have new walking partners each week. #dhefamily #selfcare
