I'm honoured to be awarded the BSI career enhancing grant to investigate neutrophil innate immune training. Many thanks to BSI and to my supervisor Charlotte Summers for her help and support!

Happy #PrideMonth. As attacks on LGBTQ+ rights increase globally, solidarity & allyship are more important than ever. This Harvey Milkāinspired piece Kamila Kamaruddin & I wrote in 2023 feels more relevant than ever. āHope will never be silentā š³ļøāš š³ļøāā§ļø š link.springer.com/article/10.100ā¦

Iām very excited to share that Cambridge University now officially has a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu society! Regular training sessions will begin in the next academic year, but the club will run a few introductory sessions over the summer. All levels welcome, and no experience necessary!

Fascinating talk at the VPD Heart & Lung Research Institute month seminar series from Prof Richard Haynes, on tackling the complexities of RCTs. The RECOVERY trial was an excellent example - keeping it simple allowed it to be fast, large, inclusive, and ultimately practice-changing.

Proud to be part of a successful TRIC Network session at #SOA25. Thank you to our finalist, judges, and brilliant speakers. Great to see the shared passion for ICM research from resident doctors across the UK - excited to see what the future holds!

Very proud to work at VPD Heart & Lung Research Institute alongside the world-leading researchers it brings together. As it celebrates its 3rd birthday today, the future of heart & lung research looks brighter than ever! cam.ac.uk/stories/heart-⦠Charlotte Summers
