I have joined with colleagues to sign Sarah Olney's open letter to the Minister for the Constitution and European Union Relations. We must be able to establish a Youth Mobility Scheme with the EU as we begin rebuilding our broken relationship with our closest neighbour.

For years, the Lib Dems have pushed for WASPI women to be fairly compensated in line with the PHSO’s recommendations. The women involved have tirelessly campaigned for justice and deserve our admiration for their persistence, instead, the Government has turned its back on them.

The situation in Sutton and Cheam today is simply not good enough, and deeply distressing for many. I'm continuing to push SES to resolve the situation quickly - and in the meantime provide bottle stations that are actually *within* Sutton and Cheam. buff.ly/401hRMs

Glad to see a water collection point open in Cheam finally at Cheam Library, Church Rd, Sutton SM3 8QH. This will remain open throughout the night for residents to collect water. Please do share with neighbours, and I will continue to push SES for a permanent fix.

Very encouraging that the Government have listened to our calls for more support for the hospice sector. But unless they scrap the N.I. tax hike on them, most hospices will still really struggle. We must secure a long-term funding deal for hospices in 2025.

We might not have made it to No1, but we did take some wonderful young carers into No10 to remind the Government that carers matter and mustn’t be neglected any longer.
