Deadline’s synopsis for lñarritu’s film with Tom Cruise sounds like the exact same plot as Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning. And I am totally down with Iñárritu’s Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.

Taking #TheHubs to see #MissionImpossible THE FINAL RECKONING in IMAX this afternoon (his 1st time, my 3rd).

#TheAssessment is brilliantly bleak and I thoroughly dug it. Houses thought provoking, compelling scenarios, sharp Black Mirror-ish character stakes & a dystopian scope. Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Olsen & Himesh Patel nimbly negotiate continually shifting tones with great ease.

Sorry to Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein, because I’m cursed with saying that title the Gene Wilder/ Mel Brooks way. I’m ruined.

Netflix #Tudum desperately needed Bruce Vilanch to write all this patter.
