Glad to present my work at the 2022 Benelux Meeting of Systems and Control #phdlife #modeling VUB PROTECT-ITN KULeuvenBioTeC+

Check out the special issue from PROTECT-ITN 'Evaluation of climate change effects on food sustainability, safety and quality'

So grateful to have been able to visit Food and Agriculture Organization Headquarters and give a talk on my PhD findings on climate change effects on food safety last week. A wonderful day, meeting fantastic people, gaining interesting insights, end enjoying Rome. 🇮🇹 A big #ThankYou 🙏 to everyone involved.

Registrations are now open for the free “Food Sustainability and Safety in a Changing Climate” symposium on 10th November 2022 at UCD. The event will feature the work of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITNs PROTECT-ITN and TRANSIT_ITN. Register here - bit.ly/3FGh5dQ

Three groups – UN Environment Programme, ClimateActionTracker @catclimate.bsky.social, and International Energy Agency –provide annual updates on where we are likely headed under both policies in place today and under future commitments. Here are their latest (Nov 2022) estimates compared to the five SSP scenarios in the recent IPCC report:

With November having ended, I want to share my highlight of this autumn, which is my visit to Dublin☘️🇮🇪 Firstly, presenting my research at a stadium(!) EFFoST, followed by my talk at the joint PROTECT-ITN & TRANSIT_ITN Symposium, this trip has been invaluable! #phdlife

Are you based in the Benelux countries 🇧🇪🇳🇱🇱🇺 and funded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions? Join us in Leuven 🇧🇪 on December 14th to meet and discuss about the Chapter! #networking

One more standout moment of my #phdjourney: my talk at the International Association for Food Protection European Symposium! Super excided to be sharing our latest publication! The aim was to investigate the influance of climate on milk production traits and develop predictive models that capture this relationship. Big thank you to everyone involved! PROTECT-ITN authors.elsevier.com/c/1jUAgcFCSbH3E
